My name is Madelyn Vyletel and I decided to start this unique brand to help restore power back to adults and kids alike.  To give everyone the confidence to wear their scars with pride.

 Why hide our strength when we can highlight it in such a fun and powerful way. We all have scars that we try to hide or cover up because of their appearance. Society tells us that they are not pretty and we should feel ashamed of them.

​

I previously stepped out of my comfort zone after having three babies in the past four years.  I decided to do a bikini body building competition. It has always been on my bucket list.   

 

After the hardship of my third pregnancy, we had to call it quits on having any more children. I really pushed to have my last child naturally, like I did my first two.  My third child, Vontianna, decided to come two months early due to a placental abruption; I had to have an emergency C-section that almost cost her and I our lives.  This procedure left me with a painful and obnoxious scar!

 

Once my little miracle turned a year old, I decided it was time to enter the competition.  After weeks and weeks of extreme training and dieting, it came down to ordering the bikini for the competition. The C-section scar that I so hated was boldly etched right above my new beautiful sparkly bikini. The bikini didn't cover it... I remember being so upset about the scar; stressing about it, when it hit me. Why would I want to hide this?  It tells a story, my story and my daughters.  The story of perseverance, strength and determination to fight for our lives.

So, just over a year ago, I was on my death bed.  I was in the worst shape of my life.  Here I am, a year later placing in the top three of my competition, in the absolute best shape of my life.

 

HOW AMAZING ARE OUR BODIES!

I felt so compelled to make my scar dazzle. I looked everywhere online for a scar glitter, to find NONE! I found many different glitters and gels but nothing exclusive for scars.

​

I decided I would make my own scar glitter, and embellish my C-section scar. I wanted to show it off with true and utter confidence during my competition.

 

I now love my scar and I show it off with pride.  I want everyone to feel proud of what their bodies can do. How our bodies can take an absolute beating, but with time they can heal. Scars are the evidence of our strength and power!  Why not showcase that? That is what MVous Scar was created to do.

​

Living in such a body conscious society... I believe it is time we change that stigma, and re-create what beauty really is. I want to encourage you to let your scars empower you. I challenge you to "own" your scars, so much so, that they literally dazzle!  

​

Scars tell part of our story. They also remind us of how life is fragile and that nothing should be taken for granted. So, let's highlight them with my fun new product that not only showcases your strength, but also has ingredients with healing properties.  

​

I hope you will find the beauty and strength in your scars and let them shine for the world to see. The scar glitter may not change the world, but the people who put it on will. Let's make our scars MVous ♥
